Communication Studies students are skilled public speakers, researchers, writers, problem-solvers and leaders. Our undergraduate and graduate students gain expertise in the creation, transmission and analyses of messages. A 2016 National Association of Colleges and Employers survey found that oral communication ranks as the most sought-after skill when hiring employees and interpersonal skills ranked closely behind. Our students become experts in these skills, applying their knowledge to the personal, work-place and real-world experiences they encounter.
